BHP Power Block skids integrate medium-voltage switching, dry-type transformation, and low-voltage distribution on one structural base. Each unit is factory assembled, pre-wired, and factory tested before shipment, so site work is limited to setting the skid and terminating the external interfaces.
The platform uses a repeatable architecture for 1–3 MVA. The reference arrangement is a 3,000 kVA, 13.8 kV to 480Y/277 V skid for AI data centers, renewable plants, and industrial loads.
The reference 3 MVA skid is arranged as three coordinated sections on a common base.
Ratings below describe the 3,000 kVA reference skid within the 1–3 MVA platform. Final voltage, bus rating, short-circuit rating, and listing are confirmed for each project.
